PAROC FPS 17

Fire protection slab PAROC FPS 17 is non-combustible stone wool insulation for use as fire protection for steel structures, chimneys, doors, furnaces and ovens.

more
thumbnail Fire protection slab PAROC FPS 17 is non-combustible stone wool insulation for use as fire protection for steel structures, chimneys, doors, furnaces and ovens.

Stone wool insulation has varying fire protection abilities that are largely dependant on the density of the material as well as the used insulation thickness. Generally speaking, the higher the density, the longer the fire protection time.

PAROC FPS 17 has a density of ~170 kg/m3. The right product for the application will be chosen based on the system provider's approval. PAROC FPS 17 has ETA approval for fire protection for steel structures. The product is easy to handle and install for different kinds of fire applications.

PAROC stone wool products are capable of withstanding high temperatures. The binder starts to evaporate when its temperature exceeds approximately 200 °C. The insulating properties remain unchanged, but the compressive stress weakens. The softening temperature of stone wool products is over 1000 °C.

Paroc ROS 30

Roof slab PAROC ROS 30 is non-combustible stone wool insulation for use as a load bearing thermal insulation layer of existing and new flat roofs.

more
thumbnail Roof slab PAROC ROS 30 is non-combustible stone wool insulation for use as a load bearing thermal insulation layer of existing and new flat roofs.

The roof insulation slab is developed to provide sustainable, hard and fire safe bedding for rigid top insulation layers as well as insulating the bearing layer in renovation sites. The suitable roof slab for flat roof will be chosen based on the product's mechanical properties and thermal conductivity.

The compressive stress of PAROC ROS 30 is 30 kPa, which means that the slab can carry a 3000 kg/m2 load during installation and use. This means that it is suitable for normal level loads.

Roof slab PAROC ROS 30g has ventilation grooves in the surface of the board. These grooves enable the constant drying of the whole roof construction.

PAROC SSB 1

Step sound board PAROC SSB 1 is non-combustible stone wool insulation for use as a sound absorbing layer (spring) for the reduction of impact sound in floating floors.

more
thumbnail Step sound board PAROC SSB 1 is non-combustible stone wool insulation for use as a sound absorbing layer (spring) for the reduction of impact sound in floating floors.

The fibre orientation in the step sound insulation slab is mainly horizontal compared to, for example, a roof slab or ground slab. The horizontal fibre direction gives a lower dynamic stiffness, which means better impact sound insulation.

The compressive stress of the product is 10 kPa, which means that it can carry a 1000 kg load during installation and use.

PAROC GRS 20

Ground slab PAROC GRS 20 is non-combustible stone wool insulation for existing and new basement walls and ground floors.

more
thumbnail Ground slab PAROC GRS 20 is non-combustible stone wool insulation for existing and new basement walls and ground floors.

The water repellent ground insulation slab can be used as thermal insulation and capillary break both in the external layer of a foundation and underground slab.

The compressive stress of the slab is 20 kPa, which means that the slab can carry a 2000 kg/m2 load. To work correctly, the other side of the external ground insulation has to be against a warm construction such as a wall of floor.
